Math & Science

At Queen’s International, we acknowledge the fact that students need to develop strong real world problem-solving skills and we see science and mathematics to this end.

We therefore give attention to how our students can connect what they learn in mathematics with other curriculum areas and with the world beyond the classroom.

We do this through our various in-service trainings and subject teachers’ meetings, where we discuss and share ideas on how our teachers can develop a rich repertoire of classroom teaching techniques, and effective planning, assessment, and reporting methods.

We also outline approaches to creating supportive learning environments for all students, and to building their knowledge and confidence in using mathematics.

Evidence-based uses of digital technologies to support learning and teaching are included in every chapter. With practical strategies that can be implemented in the classroom and with the integration of STEAM.

STEAM is education that approaches learning through Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Mathematics.
